PATIENTE MON CŒUR

Patiente mon cœur is a participatory opera for young audiences created by Lionel Polis (ELEFAN). The work tells the story of Joliette, a young girl awaiting a heart transplant, whose brief encounter with Ruméo reveals the existence of a parallel world inhabited by young heroes engaged in dangerous missions. Set between a hospital waiting room and an imagined universe of adventure, the opera explores courage, resilience, and the first stirrings of emotion.

Patiente mon cœur, a unique fusion of orchestra and electronic music, amplifies emotions and connects with the young audience, making the music sound more relatable to their familiar tastes while introducing them to the world of opera.
