ELEFAN is a creative music studio led by Belgian composer and producer Lionel Polis, specializing in music composition and sound design for events, films, opera and commercials. ELEFAN began in 2019 as an artistic duo, with Lionel Polis and Brieuc Angenot creating electronic music, including several EPs and official remixes for Kollektiv Trumstrasse, among others.

Since 2023, ELEFAN has focused exclusively on original music creation and sound design, with Lionel Polis as the Music Director and principal composer. Over the years, the studio has expanded its artistic universe through the scoring of feature films, documentaries, short films, and advertising campaigns. ELEFAN has composed two operas commissioned by the Royal Opera of Liège, and has collaborated with Glitch Prod on internationally recognized video mapping projects, including Luma Festival, iMapp Bucharest, and Let’s Glow San Francisco. The studio also earned a nomination at the Jackson Wild Awards for Best Original Score for the sound track of the documentary Among the Wolves.

For brands and campaigns, ELEFAN has contributed original music for high-profile campaigns and brands such as Toyota, Greenpeace, Dailymotion, and the video game Human Kind 2.

The studio has earned a reputation for its ability to adapt to the unique requirements of each project, encompassing aesthetic, narrative, technical, and diplomatic considerations.
